Choosing a Fertility Clinic

Where do I Start?

The world of fertility clinics can be complex and overwhelming, with a range of options to choose from. This includes family doctors, OBGYNs, and fertility clinics.

There are fertility clinics that offer Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), a process in which sperm is placed directly into the uterus to facilitate fertilization. These clinics also do cycle monitoring and prescribe “milder” fertility drugs, but they don’t perform In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). They also perform certain tests and cycle monitoring for IVF clinics. Then there are the IVF clinics, which offer more extensive testing and the option of IVF treatment, should it be warranted.

With so many choices, it can be challenging to determine which clinic is the best fit for your unique situation. However, with my extensive knowledge and expertise in this area, I can guide you through the process and help you decide which clinic may be the best option for you based on your history and your GP’s recommendations. By starting in the right place, you can save valuable time and money in your fertility journey.

Not Ready for a Fertility Clinic?

Many couples, especially those who have been trying to conceive for six months or less, may not be ready to seek out a fertility clinic. However, they may still want guidance regarding supplements, treatments, and other options they can explore before committing to a clinic. I can help you navigate this area and identify steps you can take to enhance your fertility. If you are unsure about clinics in your area, I can guide you on what to look for, what questions to ask, and other factors to consider when you are ready to seek the assistance of a fertility doctor.
